Masters and Servants

Scripture: Luke 6:38-40 KJV
“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch? The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.”
My Brief Thoughts:
Masters and servants, how many of the world’s problems are caused by this idea? Of course, there will always be leaders and followers, if for no other reason than because the Lord gave each person different gifts. In the example given in the scripture today, we picture the ridiculous idea of a blind Master trying to lead a blind servant. Of course the real point is that a seeing Servant should lead a blind master…anything otherwise would be silly. Masters and servants are just the same, but with different gifts. All should be treated the same as they treat others. As they give of themselves, they will be given of God, and of others.
Hope to see you soon!
